Duke & Maris are back with their first full-length effort for Gouphee Mouvy '97. A follow-up to their 2021 Isekai EP (J.E.M.F. for short), this collection follows our duo into yet another world, where hotel lobbies play a bassed-up blend of 80's, 90's and today (2000's). From the 1982 proto-house disco of opening track, Italo Isekai, through the Benassi-inspired sidechained sawtooth bassline of The Viper and the Alien Trade to the 90's rave inflected That Old LFO Feelin', D&M deliver a set of smooth but pumping dance tracks.

Like the J.E.M.F. EP and 2022 EP, Sabrina's Wave Runners, Isekai 2 is programmed entirely on Dirtywave's handheld tracker, the M8. Mixed and mastered at the Gouphee Mouvy '97 studios in MN.

Duke & Maris acknowledge Gino Soccio, Benny Benassi, and Tosca for inspiration. Language consultant and cover art chibis lovingly provided by Kiki.
